Job Title: Accountant
Ref: UBTEB/HRM/009/11/2011
BTEB 5
Main purpose
Prepare financial statements in compliance to UBTEB standards ; compute taxes and effect payments and analyze trends on revenue and expenditure and advise management accordingly ; prepare and keep proper books of accounts
Prepare and keep proper books of accounts , prepare forms , manual and other guidelines for use in accounting and book keeping ; prepare staff compensation , employee health care benefits and other entitlements in liaison with the HR Manual;
Appraise and evaluate and advise management on course management on course of action including boarding off equipment and perform any other functions as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
A bachelors degree in Finance / Actuarial Science , Accounting Business Administration / Commerce /Finance and Accounting
At least 3 years working experience in a reputable organization is a requirement. A professional qualifications in accounting or Auditing , such as CPA or ACCA and membership to ICPAU is an added advantage
